Originally from the Seattle area, Micah served as a Multichannel Equipment Technician in the U.S. Marine Corps form 2003-2013, deploying and maintaining line of sight, tropo-scatter and satellite communications systems in support of operations in multiple countries including Iraq and Afghanistan. He also served as a Canvassing Recruiter in southeast Idaho. Following his military service, Micah was co-founder and operator of a motorcycle service and sales facility near San Diego, CA. After selling his end of the business to a partner, Micah returned to the Seattle area and attended school full time, earning his B.S. in Business Management. While attending school, he was employed at the Boeing Company where he ran functional tests on new 737 aircraft systems and performed inspections and troubleshooting of avionics equipment in a laboratory environment. During his time at Boeing, he finished an MBA. In 2021, he was hired as an Integration Engineer at Blue Origin, where he built BE-4 rocket engines and lead a team of technicians who process hardware for valve builds. A life-long hobbyist programmer, he is currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science in his free time, he has IPC soldering and harnessing certificates and holds an FCC General Radiotelephone license.
