I am an educator and program innovator transforming learning across Washington State. Through Thoughts Cost LLC and Standing Tall Collective, I design and lead ARISE, PATH, LEAP, and AURA to bridge learning gaps, strengthen community engagement, and empower students, families, and educators.
My work centers Black students, students with disabilities, and historically underserved communities. I bring deep experience in IEP support, transition services, culturally responsive programming, and community-based leadership development. I teach, coach, and build systems that make inclusion the norm.
Technology is part of my toolbox. Projects include the AI Special Education Teacher Assistant, ReadEase, and a Virtual Science Classroom that expand literacy, improve STEM access, and make learning more equitable. I also write and teach as a historian, storyteller, and teacher so that culture and data move together.
This work has been recognized by the Washington Commission on African American Affairs, Washington Association of School Administrators, Puget Sound ESD, the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, and the Washington Developmental Disabilities Council. My leadership extends into statewide efforts that push policy and practice forward.
I believe in cultural reciprocity. Community values and cultural knowledge hold equal weight in how education is shaped. My goal is simple. Build programs that respect culture, deliver measurable outcomes, and scale what works.
