Founder & CEO of DolbomDream
I graduated early from Gyunggibuk Science High School, graduated from KAIST's business and technology management department, and a master's degree in KAIST's Master of Entrepreneurship & Innovation. After entering KAIST, I was interested in starting a business, so I experienced various activities related to startup along with choosing a business and technology management department, and in the second half of 2019, I won the best prize (1st place) at E*5 KAIST, an on-campus start-up competition, and started DolbomDream in earnest.
Starting with HUGgy, an air-inflated care vest that provides psychological stability with a hug feeling, we developed a smart vest that monitors the stress and emotional state of the wearer by collecting biometric information and developing a mental-related platform to establish itself as a startup representing mental healthcare. It has grown rapidly in Korea thanks to various accelerations, including the SK Happiness Foundation, the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, the Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-gu Foundation, MYSC, Sopoong, Korean Social Investment Foundaion, and Samsung Electronics' C-Lab Outside, and won the Minister of Employment and Labor Award, the Minister of Science and ICT Award, and the K-Digital Grand Championship. Overseas, we are garnered in winning the CES Innovation Award, establishing a Singapore corporation and attracting investment, and participating in the K-Global @SiliconValley and KAIST New York Tech Fair.
Recently, we are making various efforts for ESG, including obtaining B-Corp certification for the first time in the Daejeon Chung-cheong area and joining 1% for the planet, and In recognition of this move, I was selected as a social impact field for Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia in 2023.
