In the past 4 years I have dedicated my professional life to the creation of Hydrogen based Energy Solutions. Last year my wife and I founded Hyviva. The mission of Hyviva is to provide climate neutral, modular and therefore scalable hydrogen based solutions to change how we see energy in the decades to come. With my extensive knowledge of the Internet of Things (IoT) Hyviva's solutions will combine the strength of smart connected devices with cloud computing and enterprise class business intelligence services and hardware modules creating intelligent energy systems.
Before Hyviva, and as a previous Microsoft employee, I worked over 15 years on IoT Solutions with my company C-Labs that was acquired by TRUMPF in 2017.
In 2000, I authored the book The Windows CE Technology Tutorial, published by Addison Wesley, which was at the top of the sales rank for Windows CE books for more than 18 months on Amazon.com.
Also in the early 2000s, I invented and developed the first Online-Survey System and worked on architecture, design and development of this high-end/high-traffic web-based application
For Siemens' HMI application (WinCC) I took many roles such as customer research, conception, design, architecture, development, documentation, usability, promotion marketing, pre-sales-, sales-, and after-sales-support.
In my past I have been active in the computer gaming industry and published several games for multiple platforms including Windows, Pocket-PC, Amiga and XBox360. Design, conception and development of computer games are passions I have developed since childhood and continue to be part of my life.
I am working with innovative companies that supports creativity and hard work. Working or managing a team that identifies with the common goal and has fun and excitement reaching that goal is important to me as well as the opportunity to develop myself to be able to accept any challenge.
As a dual citizen of Germany and the US, I love to travel between Europe and the US and work with international teams.
In my personal life, I decided to focus on renewable energies to live Carbon Free by 2025.
