Typically I help firms find solutions and secure agreements with US research institutions, often federal labs. I also serve as a technology scout, a business development consultant, and a capability broker for companies large and small.
‍

I have technology manager contacts at the major government technology creation agencies in the US (DoD, DoE, NIST, NASA, DoT, DHS, and USDA) and often speak on IP related issues and the US Federal Labs. I have served on the program committee for the Federal Lab Consortium and have spoken at many of the past national meetings.
‍

Prior to forming my own firm, I served as Vice President of Strategic Planning at CenterSpan (NASDAQ: CSCC), in a licensing/marketing role at Intel, in a Director position in NASA's technology transfer program, and as a licensing associate at MIT.
‍

I am a member of the Licensing Executive Society and published by the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), a Portland Business Journal “Forty under 40,” and on the advisory board of several companies.
‍

In addition to my consulting work, I have founded or otherwise participated in several entrepreneurial endeavors.
‍
