I serve as an executive advisor and systems-risk strategist working at the intersection of geopolitics, cybersecurity, leadership, and business development.

My work focuses on translating power dynamics, incentives, and global events into actionable foresight leaders can use to make better decisions before risk shows up as an incident, a failed program, or a missed opportunity.

Over the past 25+ years, I’ve held senior leadership roles across federal IT operations, cybersecurity, and business development, including serving as a Senior IT Operations Director, CISO, and Chief Growth & Innovation Officer. I’ve worked inside the realities of government contracting, regulated environments, and large IT programs where decisions are constrained, tradeoffs are real, and second-order effects matter.

That experience shapes how I approach risk and leadership:
• Less theory, more operational realism
• Fewer indicators, more incentive analysis
• No hot takes—just clear framing and defensible conclusions

What I focus on:

• Geopolitical cyber risk — how global events create asymmetric cyber incentives
• Leadership in the AI era — preserving human judgment and relational skills in automated environments
• Business development & decision realism — why compliance, reviews, and evaluations often fail quietly
• Systems thinking — understanding how technology, policy, and human behavior interact

I share analysis through writing and speaking, advise organizations navigating complex risk environments, and experiment with new approaches to decision-making in areas like business development, compliance, and AI-enabled teams.

Who this is for:

• Cybersecurity and technology leaders
• Federal and public-sector executives and PMs
• Founders and operators working in regulated or high-risk environments

If this resonates:

• Follow for periodic geo-cyber and systems-risk analysis
• Reach out if you’re looking for a speaker, advisor, or strategic briefing

My guiding belief is simple:
Better decisions come from understanding incentives not just indicators.

Calm analysis. Clear decisions.
