I’ve been building service businesses since 2003, starting with Northwest Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning (NWKEC), which I grew over more than a decade before exiting in 2017. I’ve since returned as a consultant and fractional CEO to help guide the company’s next chapter.
After that exit, I started Hood Repair to focus on certified service and mechanical work for commercial kitchens. That hands-on experience led to the idea behind the IQ-1 Monitor — a remote chemical monitoring solution that became the flagship product at Readybit, Inc.
These days, I’m focused on growing NWKEC and Hood Repair, and getting Readybit’s platform into the field. I like building things that work — companies, tools, and systems — and improving how things get done in overlooked corners of the industry.
