Before my career in healthcare, I commenced my professional experience as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers working in industries as diverse as energy, technology, venture capital, and life sciences.
I moved into a billion-dollar public company to serve as an internal auditor and then as financial analyst. Where my responsibilities included the SEC reporting quarterly filing procedures encompassing the preparation, writing and compliance review of filings submitted to the SEC, along with month-end and quarterly reporting procedures, cash management procedures and traveling internationally for special projects for the C-Suite.
And now with over 13 years of healthcare industry specific experience, ranging from due diligence for joint ventures, business and physician agreements, hospital administration and marketing, consulting and project management I look forward to what’s in store.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting and Finance and a Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis on Healthcare Management from the University of Texas. I’m also a Six Sigma Green Belt and an Improvement Leader Fellow from the American Hospital Association and U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Partnership for Patients.
I describe myself as an individual with vast analytical skills with the ability to conceptualize and implement creative solutions to business problems. Capability to simultaneously manage diverse projects under various deadlines. Rapid and successful adjustment to new and diverse business and cultural environments. Successful fostering of professional relationships ranging from Executive Teams to Administrative and Support Staff.
